AZUSA, Calif. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field wrapped up their first day of competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday.
The highlight of the day came in the men's 800 meter when
Ian Conder led RSU in 43rd with a new school record time of 1:52.07, surpassing his own record of 1:52.95 set last season.
Jon Biersdorfer finished in 131st with a time of 1:54.56.
Carlos Vallejo finished in 135th with a time of 1:54.69.
Solomon Higgins finished in 182nd with a time of 1:56.88.
Blake Feron finished in 223rd with a time of 1:59.10.
In the Open B segment of the women's 5,000 meter,
Gloria Butts finished in 69th with a time of 17:32.23.
The Hillcats will close out the meet tomorrow competing in four events.
