Hillcats Sit In Fourth After First Day At MIAA Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rogers State men's golf wrapped up competition on the first day of the MIAA Championships on Monday.
 
After 18 holes at the par 71, 7,011 yard Shoal Creek Golf Club, the Hillcats sit in fourth place with a card of 298 (+14).
 
Elliot-Han Monteremal leads RSU in a group of seven tied at sixth after shooting a 72 (+1) on the day. Daniel Robles Delval and Tyler Collier sit in a four-way tie for 17th with cards of 75 (+4). Thomas Barnes Grimes is one stroke back in a group of seven tied at 21st with a 76 (+5). Ty Nicar rounds out the squad in a four-way tie for 33rd with a 78 (+7).
 
The Hillcats will tee off the second round tomorrow morning. The first group will begin the round at 11:20 a.m.
