KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rogers State men's golf continued to climb the leaderboard on the second day of the MIAA Championships on Tuesday.

After 36 holes at the par 71, 7,011 yard Shoal Creek Golf Club, the Hillcats moved up to third place with a total card of 606 (+38), just five strokes behind second place Missouri Southern.

Thomas Barnes Grimes now leads RSU in a three-way tie for sixth after shooting a 73 (+2) for a total card of 149 (+7), just three strokes behind the leaders.

Ty Nicar climbed 16 spots to sit in a five-way tie for 17th in the second round with a round of 75 (+4) and a total card of 153 (+11) for the tournament.
Elliot-Han Monteremal joins him in the tie for 17th with a total card of 153 (+11), shooting 81 (+10) today.
Daniel Robles Delval and
Tyler Collier round out the group as both sit in a five-way tie for 23rd with both turning in rounds of 80 (+9) to bring their total cards to 155 (+13).

The Hillcats will look to continue their ascent up the leaderboard in the final round of the tournament tomorrow. The first group will tee off at 10 a.m.
