CLAREMORE, Okla. – No. 8 Rogers State softball was featured in the first NCAA Division II Softball Regional Rankings of the season on Wednesday.
 
As a part of the Central Region, the Hillcats were one of 10 teams ranked and one of four MIAA teams featured in the first rankings, joined by Central Oklahoma, Pittsburg State and Washburn. This first poll was ordered alphabetically with no number rankings.
 
The Hillcats will return to action as they continue the final homestand of the regular season on Friday, April 26 with a matchup against Nebraska Kearney. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
