EDMOND, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf wrapped up the first day of competition at the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Region Championships on Thursday.

After 18 holes at the par 70, 6,944 yard KickingBird Golf Club, the Hillcats sit in 17th place after turning in a card of 293 (+13).

Daniel Robles Delval leads RSU in a large group of 11 tied at 46th after shooting a 72 (+2) on the day. Elliot-Han Monteremal and Tyler Collier are one stroke behind in a large group of 13 tied at 57th with a card of 73 (+3). Thomas Barnes Grimes sits in a group of eight tied at 81st with a 75 (+5). Ty Nicar rounds out the squad as he is tied for 100th with a 78 (+8).

The Hillcats will look to climb up the leaderboard in the second round tomorrow. The first group is set to tee off at 10:30 a.m.
