Brittani Smith

About:Smith played in 33 games for RSU in 2010-11, helping the Cats to the NAIA National Tournament. She doubled her output from 2009-10 as a junior by posting 181 points and 105 rebounds. Brittani appeared in 30 of 32 games for the Hillcats during the 2009-10 season. Smith transferred to RSU in January of 2009 after originally signing with UNLV out of Coweta High School. She was a two-time second-team all-state selection at Coweta while leading the Lady Tigers to back-to-back regional championships. Smith averaged 12 points and six rebounds at CHS and said she chose RSU because “it’s close to home and I felt comfortable with the players and the coaching staff.”

Williams on Smith: “We will need Brittani to be ready to step in and help us fill a void in the post after graduating two
all-conference post players. She has the capability of being a very strong post presence for us.”
