About: Rymel started in 39 of the 40 games he played in last season. He registered a .373 batting average with 44 hits, nine doubles and four home runs. He registered a .988 fielding percentage behind the plate last season, committing just three errors. Rymel played in 34 games and started in 20 contests in 2010. The Broken Arrow, Okla. native, posted a .988 fielding percentage as he committed just two errors in 173 chances. Rymel joined the Diamond Cats for his sophomore season after helping Seminole State College reach the JUCO World Series in 2009. He was a two-time all-conference selection at Broken Arrow High School and also made the Oklahoma Senior Sunbelt team. Rymel said he chose RSU because “of the coaches and the atmosphere that surrounds the program.”
