Josh Fosdick begins his third season at the helm of the Rogers State men's and women's golf teams after being hired in July 2014, as the second coach in program history, from the University of Texas-Pan American where he served as the head men's golf coach from 2012-2014.

A season ago, Fosdick guided the RSU women to nine top-10 finishes during a 10-event schedule in 2015-16 and the program's sixth team title at the UAFS Lady Lion Classic. The season ended with three Hillcats landing in a tie for ninth place at the Heartland Conference Championship.

Fosdick shaped the Hillcats back into contenders, while making a name for them in the Heartland Conference earning 2014-15 Coach of the Year honors for his work with the RSU men. The Cats won a combined three tournaments between the two programs in his first-year as the men never placed lower than eighth at an event and the women turned in top-six results at 10 of 11 meets.

With Fosdick's guidance, the RSU men saw Alex Marsh earn Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year and Second-Team All-Conference honors in 2014-15. Tanner Alder was named a first-team selection, while Hagen Barmasse landed on the second-team and a spot on the all-tournament team with Ryan Roberts. Alder also became the first men's player in program history to earn the prestigious Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar award from the Golf Coaches Association of America in 2014-15.

Raquel Trevino became the first Hillcat to earn a women's golf postseason honor gaining All-Heartland Conference Second-Team accolades in 2014-15. Mica Eastin followed a year later earning all-league honors in 2015-16 as a second-team selection.

A former National Golf Association (NGA) Professional Golf Tour member, Fosdick brought six years of golf coaching experience, including four at the NCAA Division I level, to College Hill. He spent two years as assistant coach for the Oklahoma State University men's and women's teams coaching an NCAA individual champion for the Cowgirls, three All-Americans, and six academic All-Americans. The Cowboys finished the year as the top-ranked team in the country while the women earned a spot inside the top 10 at the NCAA Championships.

Prior to joining the OSU staff, Fosdick coached the boy's golf team at Edmond Memorial High School for two years helping the Bulldogs to top-10 finishes at the Oklahoma Class 6A State Tournament both years. He also earned Region 8 Coach of the Year honors in 2008.

A native of Casper, Wyoming, Fosdick previously served as assistant golf professional at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Oklahoma and Hillwood Country Club in Nashville, Tennessee.

Fosdick played three years at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, serving as team captain for the Demons during his senior season. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Chemistry from NSU in 1997.

Fosdick and his wife, Stephanie, have three children, Adison, Olivia, and Isaac.
