Heritage Hills Golf Course
Heritage Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole championship public golf course located one mile west of the RSU Claremore campus. The par-71 (men) / par-72 (women) course plays up to 6,750 yards. With a mixture of hilly and flat terrain, the Donald Sechrest designed layout provides golfers with a challenging course featuring water hazards on 15 of the 18 holes. Opened on July 1, 1977, HHGC’s classical architecture gives reward to well-played golf shots with Penncross Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways, tees and surrounding areas. Cherokee Hills Golf Club
Cherokee Hills Golf Club, located in Catoosa, Okla., just 15 miles from campus, was voted No. 4 by Golfweek in “Courses You Can Play” in the state of Oklahoma in 2011. Designed by renowned golf architect Perry Maxwell in 1924, the course was recently redesigned by Tripp Davis and has proven to be one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the state. A true challenge for the most accomplished golfer, Cherokee Hills beckons golfers to traverse tree-lined fairways, dramatic elevation changes, demanding bent grass greens, natural rock outcroppings and babbling brooks. With a short game facility and driving range, the par-70, 6,635 yard course provides Hillcat golfers another challenge. For more information click here.
Bailey Ranch Golf Club
Bailey Ranch Golf Club, located just minutes North of Tulsa in Owasso, offers one of Oklahoma's best tests of golf and is considered to be one of the most fun courses to play in the region. Architect Bland Pittman's style is challenging, but golfer friendly. With as many as four and five tee boxes per hole, serious players can accept the challenge from the black championship tees or ease into their game from the white markers. Pace of play is enhanced by yardages marked on tee signs, sprinkler heads, fairway plates, and cart paths; as well as daily pin sheets showing exact hole locations. For more information click here.
