CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State needed a spark and Robin Sutherland delivered once again with a double overtime game-winning-goal against Southern Nazerene at Soldier Field on Monday.

RSU earned a spot in the Sooner Athletic Conference championship match with the victory.

The Hillcats and Crimson Storm appeared to be headed for a shootout after a scoreless second half and first overtime period. Sutherland drilled a free kick into the back of the net with 8:18 remaining in the second overtime to give RSU the victory.

The teams traded goals in the first half. Kellie Traves gave the Crimson Storm the early lead on an assist from Jenna Holt. Sutherland answered on an assist from Dallas Mayfield to knot the game at 1-1.

RSU goal keeper Bailey Lynn turned in a strong performance with six saves, including two crucial saves in the second overtime. Sutherland, the nation's leading goal scorer, tallied her 38th and 39th goals of the season, respectively.

Oklahoma Christian defeated top seeded John Brown in the other semifinal match, giving RSU home field advantage for the conference championship. The Hillcats (17-2) will host the Lady Eagles for the SAC crown on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
