CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State scored three first half goals and goal keeper Sean Surridge kept USAO out of the net with nine second half saves to ensure the Hillcats 3-0 win at Soldier Field on Tuesday.

Sophomore Shermord Thompson struck quickly for the Cats with a goal in the second minute of the game. RSU benefited from an own-goal by the Drovers and Jaime Perez added a third goal late in the first half to make it 3-0.

Surridge, a freshman from Kent, England, had 12 saves in the match, including several spectacular saves in the second half.

The Hillcats improved to 6-1-2, 2-1-0 in conference play. RSU will travel to St. Gregorys on Saturday before returning home to face Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday.
