CLAREMORE, Okla. - Robin Sutherland followed up a banner week with another impressive performance as she scored three times in the Hillcats 3-0 win over USAO at Soldier Field on Tuesday.

Sutherland, who was named the Sooner Athletic Conference player of the week on Monday and the Region VI player of the week on Tuesday, tallied a hat trick for the second consecutive match.

The Drovers and Hillcats battled through a scoreless tie until Sutherland scored on a penalty kick with 11:14 remaining in the first half. She added her second goal on an assist from Tiffany Roberts 12 minutes into the second period and capped off the scoring with the final goal of the match with 21:15 remaining.

The senior from Rogers, Ark., has now scored in all eight RSU matches this season and has four consecutive multi-goal games. Goal keeper Bailey Lynn had four saves in preserving the shutout for the Hillcats.

Coach Derek Larkin's club improved to 7-1 on the season, 2-1 in conference play. RSU will travel to St. Gregory's on Saturday before returning home to host Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday.
