CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State took care of business with a 4-1 win over College of Saint Mary (Omaha, Neb.) Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field in Claremore, Okla.

With two big conference matches looming later in the week, the Hillcats managed to remain focused against the Flames for 90 minutes. After battling through a scoreless first half the Cats caught fire in the second. Freshman Summer White gave the Cats a lead they wouldn't relinquish with a strike from 40 yards out into the top corner of the net in the 50th minute.

Tiffany Roberts scored two goals in less than a minute to put the game away in the 70th minute. Her first score came on a cross from Angel Kemmerer deep in the box. Moments later Morghan Saliba passed ahead to Roberts who broke into the open field and beat Flames goalie Mollie Jones to make it 3-0.

College of Saint Mary got on the board in the 72nd minute when Kaela Croushorn scored on a direct kick. It marked the first time in four games that RSU has surrendered a goal. Sophomore Bailey Lynn earned the win with five saves. Junior Kendall Clement topped off the scoring with a breakaway goal in the final minute for the Hillcats.

Rogers State (9-1, 3-0) extended its win streak to seven games with the victory. The Hillcats will travel to Edmond, Okla., Tuesday for a conference tilt with Oklahoma Christian. The match is scheduled for 5 p.m.
