PLAINVIEW, Texas - Caleb Annesley tallied four hits and David Dennis added two home runs as fourth-ranked Oklahoma City bounced Rogers State from the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament Thursday in Plainview, Texas.

OCU scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning to take a commanding 5-0 lead. RSU scored its only run in the top of the fourth when Travis Harold crossed home plate on a balk by Tyler Kelsey. The Hillcats squandered a number of scoring opportunities, stranding 10 base runners in the contest.

Dennis cranked his second homer of the game in the bottom of the fourth to make it an 8-1 game. Annesley's two-run blast in the sixth off reliever Brett Trzcinski sealed the Cats fate and reached the final margin, 10-1.

Coby Wright and Ryan Littlejohn accounted for four of RSU's six hits. Annesley went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a homer. OCU cranked out 14 hits off four Hillcat pitchers. Freshman Sam Cornell (6-3) took the loss after working the first two innings. He allowed five runs on five hits with two strikeouts. Ryan White tossed the next 3.1 innings and surrendered another four runs on five hits.

Kelsey (8-0) remained perfect on the season with seven innings on the hill. He allowed just one run on five hits and struck out 10. The Stars improved to 49-9 with the victory and advanced to Friday's semifinal round.

Rogers State (35-16) went 1-2 in its first trip to the SAC tournament and will await a potential at-large bid to next week's Region VI Tournament. Seeding and details will be announced Sunday.
