OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Rogers State suffered its second consecutive road loss as the Hillcats were edged, 2-1 by Mid-America Christian Tuesday afternoon in Oklahoma City.

Kassie Shivers erased an early RSU lead with a pair of goals for the Evangels. Kimmia Parker beat the MACU defense for the first goal of the match in the 25th minute. Shivers responded with a strike 10 minutes later and then netted the game winner on a header off a corner kick in the 61st minute.

The Evangels outshot the Hillcats, 18-17 and registered 12 shots on goal. Bailey Lynn recorded 10 saves for RSU while Jamie Thatcher tallied five saves in the win for MACU.

Rogers State (11-5, 4-4) remains in sixth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with two matches remaining in the regular season. The top six teams in the SAC will advance to the postseason conference tournament. The Hillcats will host Southern Nazarene on Friday evening at Soldier Field. The match is slated for 5 p.m.
