NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Running in a last chance meet on Thursday, Rogers State freshman Julius Oheim claimed a victory in the 5,000-Meter Run at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central College.

The Halle Saale, Germany native won the event by 4.03 seconds, as he crossed the line with a 15:11.24 to claim his first collegiate victory. Oheim also set a new personal best with the time, breaking his previous best of time of 15:12.28 in the event set on April 24 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
