Kansas City, Mo. – The Rogers State women's soccer team tallied 49 points to come in eighth in the MIAA preseason poll announced Thursday.
The Hillcats completed the spring 2021 season with a 5-5 record. They have added 17 players to the roster for the fall 2021 season and return all-conference performers
Andrea Egerer and
Vanessa Gonzalez.
Central Oklahoma claimed the top spot by just six points. The Bronchos were also selected 10th in the 2021 United Soccer Coaches Division II preseason coaches poll. Emporia was picked second in the poll with 110 points and three first-place votes.
The Rogers State women's soccer team opens the regular season slate September 2 at home against East Central.
