KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Five Rogers State women's soccer players earned MIAA Honorable Mention All-Conference honors, the league announced on Wednesday.

Andrea Egerer,
Vanessa Gonzalez,
Hailey Gunn and
Sarah Ovalle all earned all-conference honors after finishing ninth in the MIAA with a 5-7-6 (2-5-4 MIAA) record.

A native of Glendora, Calif.,
Maggie Brown played and started in 17 games during the season. Brown posted a team-high four goals with one assist for a team-high nine points. In total, she had 34 shots with 20 on target and scored two game-winning goals against William Jewell and Sioux Falls.

Andrea Egerer, a product of Washington, N.J., anchored the RSU defense and started in all 18 games this season. The senior led the Hillcats to six shoutouts and scored two goals including one penalty goal in the 1-1 draw against Missouri Southern.

Hailing from El Paso, Texas,
Vanessa Gonzalez saw action in 17 games with 16 starts. The sophomore scored one goal on 15 shots with four on target. Gonzalez scored the game winning goal in the 2-0 victory over Newman at home.

Hailey Gunn, a product of Mesquite, Texas, was also an anchor on the Hillcat defense with a start in all 18 games. The senior played a major role in RSU's six shutouts and scored the lone goal in the 1-1 draw with Emporia State at home.

A native of Dallas, Texas,
Sarah Ovalle played in all 18 games with 15 starts. The junior scored one goal with one assist for three points on the year. In total, Ovalle took 17 shots with seven shots on goal.
