COLUMBIA, Mo. – Rogers State men's and women's cross country competed at the MIAA Cross Country Championships on Friday.

In the women's 6k race, RSU finished in fourth place with 111 points and an average time of 22:38.30. Three Hillcats earned All-MIAA honors for their performances.
Gloria Butts and Kaite Byrd were named to the All-MIAA team, while
Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett picked up Honorable Mention honors.

Butts led the team with a fourth place finish as she ran a new personal best time of 21:46.56, which is the third fastest time in school history.
Katie Byrd finished 10th with a time of 22:11.22.
Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett finished in 19th with a time of 22:29.22.
Rayna Kucharyski finished in 38th with a new personal best time of 23:15.6.
Ashley Riggenbach finished in 40th with a time of 23:28.93.
Cadence Cordova finished in 49th with a time of 23:50.24.
Tori Wood rounded out the scoring in 56th with a time of 24:11.65.

In the men's 8k race, the Hillcats finished in 11th place with 326 points and an average time of 26:51.61.

Kyle Woodward led the team in 66th with a time of 26:37.43.
Blake Feron finished in 68th with a time of 26:41.34.
Jon Biersdorfer finished in 73rd with a time of 26:48.74.
Jackson Stinnett finished in 78th with a time of 26:58.12.
Blaine Phillippi finished in 81st with a new personal best time of 27:12.40.
Casey Little finished in 82nd with a new personal best time of 27:14.32.
Carlos Vallejo rounded out the team scoring in 83rd with a time of 27:15.45.

The Hillcats will now turn their attention to the NCAA Central Region Championships on Saturday, Nov. 4 in Joplin, Mo. at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.
