CLAREMORE, Okla. – Five Rogers State men's soccer student-athletes were selected for the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
Amber Arnold, Tiffany Brittan, Courtney Castleberry, Vanessa Gonzalez and Sophia Wickenden represented the Hillcats on the list.
 
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 20.
 
To be nominated for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore (or redshirt-freshman) both athletically and academically as well as have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Student-athletes must also have competed in 90 percent of the team's games or start in at least 66 percent of the games.
