JOPLIN, Mo. – Rogers State men's and women's cross country competed at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships on Saturday.

In the women's 6k, the Hillcats finished in 6th place with 226 points and an average team time of 22:02. This is RSU's best finish in school history and third-straight year with a top 10 finish.

Katie Byrd led the Hillcats as she earned All-Region honors with a 14th place finish with a new school record time of 21:16.22, surpassing her own record of 21:22.5 from this meet last season.
Gloria Butts finished in 26th with a new personal best time of 21:41.8 and is good for the third best time in school history.
Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett finished in 32nd with a new personal best time of 21:50.8 and is good for the fourth best time in school history.
Ashley Riggenbach finished in 65th with a new personal best time of 22:31.0.
Rayna Kucharyski finished in 89th with a new personal best time of 22:51.9.
Cadence Cordova finished in 94th with a new personal best time of 23:02.1.
Tori Wood rounded out the group in 181st with a time of 25:18.49.

In the men's 10k, the Hillcats finished in 26th place with 647 points and an average team time of 33:54.

Carlos Vallejo led RSU in 117th place with a time of 33:36.20.
Jackson Stinnett finished in 125th with a time of 33:49.09.
Kyle Woodward finished in 130th with a time of 33:56.52.
Jon Biersdorfer finished in 137th with a time of 34:06.30.
Casey Little finished in 138th with a time of 34:06.67.
Blake Feron finished in 140th with a time of 34:12.25.
Blaine Phillippi finished in 155th with a time of 24:48.66.
