TOPEKA, Kan. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field wrapped up competition at the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday.

The highlight of the day came in the men's 3,000 meter when
Blake Feron finished in 12th with a new personal best time of 8:43.24, blowing away his previous best time by 42.99 seconds.
Kyle Ginn finished in 20th with a time of 8:58.16.

In the women's 3,000 meter,
Gloria Butts earned a point by finishing in eighth with a time of 10.19.02.
Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett finished close behind in ninth with a time of 10:23.72. They turned in these strong performances after both ran in the 5,000 meter yesterday, with Butts placing third and breaking the school record.
Rayna Kucharyski finished in 15th with a time of 10:29.72.
Ashley Riggenbach finished in 17th with a time of 10:47.26.
Elena Fries finished in 19th with a time of 10:55.24.

In the women's mile,
Jillian Skalicky earned a point by finishing in eighth with a time of 5:12.00.
Cadence Cordova finished right behind in ninth with a time of 5:12.26.
Ashley Riggenbach finished in 12th with a new personal best time of 5:13.55, surpassing her previous best by 1.21 seconds.

In the men's mile,
Jackson Stinnett finished in 18th with a time of 4:23.13.

In the men's 4x400 meter relay, the team of
Jon Biersdorfer,
Solomon Higgins,
Carlos Vallejo and
Ian Conder finished in 10th with a time of 10:20.01.

The Hillcats will return to action on Saturday, March 2 as they begin the outdoor portion of the season in Conway, Ark. in the Hendrix Alumni Open at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.
