EDMOND, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf's 
Elliot-Han Monteremal punched his ticket to the NCAA Division II National Championships as the Hillcats wrapped up competition at the Midwest/Central Region Championships on Saturday.
 
After three rounds at the par 70, 6,944 yard KickingBird Golf Club, the Hillcats finished in 10th place with a total card of 847 (+7), including a round of 278 (-2) today. Unfortunately, only the top five teams advance to the National Championships.
 
Elliot-Han Monteremal qualified for the National Championships as he finished in a three-way tie for seventh place after shooting 205 (-5) for the tournament, with a 67 (-3) today, and was the top individual on a non-advancing team. He is the first Hillcat since Luke Palmowski in 2021 to advance to the final site.
 
Thomas Barnes Grimes and 
Daniel Robles Delval finished in a group of nine tied at 51st with total cards of 215 (+5), with Barnes Grimes shooting a 71 (+1) and Robles Delval shooting a 73 (+3) today. 
Tyler Collier finished in a group of seven tied at 67th with a total card of 217 (+7) and a 72 (+2) today. 
Ty Nicar rounded out the squad in a group of six tied at 74th with a total card of 218 (+8).
 
Monteremal will train and prepare to travel to Winter Garden, Fla. on May 21-25 at Orange County National Golf Club for the NCAA Division II National Championships.
