Matt Kennedy announced his teams' 2024 schedules on Monday.

Led by all-region returner
Katie Byrd, the women begin the 2024 campaign after narrowly missing the national meet the last two seasons and are the most improved team in the Central Region since 2019 (finished 30th in the 2019 and 6th in 2023). Likewise, the men look to continue to improve their standing in the region with a host of returners led by
Julius Oheim.
The Hillcats will open the 2024 schedule on Sept. 5 at home with the third annual RSU Distance After Dark at Mohawk Sports Complex down the road in Tulsa, Okla.

They will then travel to Joplin, Mo. on Sept. 20 to run in the annual Southern Stampede, hosted by Missouri Southern, at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.

RSU will wrap up the regular season on Oct. 5 at the Griffon Invitational in St. Joseph, Mo. at the Missouri Western Cross Country Course.

The Hillcats will return to MWSU for the MIAAÂ Cross Country Championships on Oct. 26 and then travel back to MSSU for the NCAA Central Regional Championships on Nov. 9.

The NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships are set for Nov. 23 in Sacramento, Calif. at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.
