KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches (USC) released its Week 5 Top 25 rankings, and Rogers State men's soccer (7-1-2, 3-1-0 GAC/MIAA) is ranked 15th in the latest national poll. The Hillcats were previously ranked a program-best eighth in last week's poll.
Rogers State faced a setback against Fort Hays State, which is currently ranked seventh, losing 4-0 last Thursday at Soldier Field. However, the Hillcats rebounded with a decisive 3-1 victory over Newman on Homecoming Saturday.
RSU men's soccer will hit the road Saturday to take on in-state rival Southern Nazarene (4-3-2, 2-1-1 GAC/MIAA). Kickoff from Wes Harmon Field (Wanda Rhodes Soccer Complex) in Bethany is set for 7 p.m.
