Women’s Cross Country Ranked 29th in Final USTFCCCA Poll

Hillcats ranked for 15th consecutive week inside the top-30

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) unveiled its final NCAA Division II women's cross country poll, and Rogers State checked in at 29th.
 
This marks the Hillcats' 15th consecutive week in the top 30, a streak that began in Week 1 of 2024. RSU dropped 11 spots from 18th in last week's poll. Rogers State is one of three teams nationally ranked in the final poll that will not compete at the national meet, along with No. 25 Northwest Missouri State and No. 30 Point Loma Nazarene.
 
Grand Valley State leads the standings with 239 points, just ahead of Adams State, which has 228 points. Colorado Mines follows closely with 226 points, while UC-Colorado Springs and Western Colorado have 214 and 205 points, respectively. Junior Amy Morefield will compete at the NCAA Division II National Championships as an individual on Nov. 22 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.  She finished fifth and set a new school record in the women's 6K with a time of 21:08.27 at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships.
