INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The quest for a national title runs through Claremore as the No. 13 Rogers State men's soccer team (12-3-5) continues to make history this season after receiving a program-best No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
First-year head coach
Jake Simpson's Hillcats will host the first two games at Soldier Field on Thursday and Saturday, both scheduled for 1 p.m. With a win on Saturday, Rogers State will host the next round on its home pitch on Sunday, Nov. 30. Seventh-seed Cedarville (11-1-7) and 10th-seed Northern Michigan (9-4-6) will face off in the opening tournament game at Soldier Field on Thursday at 1 p.m. The winner will advance to challenge the Hillcats for a chance to reach the Sweet 16 on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Fort Hays State (17-0-3) received the top seed in the region, while Lincoln (11-1-6) earned the third seed and Rockhurst (12-4-3) secured the fourth seed. All three institutions will host first-round matches on their campuses.
