KANSAS CITY, Mo.  – The MIAA Baseball Championship schedule has been adjusted due to potential inclement weather on Wednesday and Thursday, the Association announced on Tuesday.
Â
Originally set to take place in Joplin, Mo., the first round and quarterfinals will now be split with games taking place in Joplin and Pittsburg, Kan. Because of this change, the No. 5-seed Hillcats will now take on No. 4-seed Central Oklahoma in Joplin on Thursday, May 8 at 3 p.m. instead of the original 10 a.m. start time.
