KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its 2025 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll on Friday morning, and Rogers State was picked to finish 11th.
The Hillcats collected 37 points in the poll, finishing ahead of Missouri Southern (19) and Newman (16). The defending MIAA Tournament Champions, No. 13 Central Missouri, were predicted to win the conference with 132 points and four first-place votes. Last season's MIAA Regular Season Champions, Washburn, were tabbed fourth with 123 points but received the highest number of first-place votes with five.
Rogers State aims to improve on its 2-7-3 (2-12-3 overall) record from last season, with six of its losses being by just one goal.
RSU will open the season on September 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Soldier Field against UT Tyler. Conference play kicks off on Friday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m. at home against Missouri Western.
