KANSAS City, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches (USC) released its 2025 preseason top 25 poll, and Rogers State Men's Soccer was picked 20th.
The Hillcats had an impressive 2024 season, finishing 21st nationally with a record of 9-5-7 (8-1-3 GAC). Their accomplishments included claiming a share of the MIAA/GAC Regular Season Championship and securing a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory against Southern Nazarene in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Head coach
Jake Simpson's inaugural game is scheduled against No. 4 McKendree on Thursday, September 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Lebanon, Illinois. Additionally, the Hillcats will face another ranked team, No. 23 Fort Hays State, twice this season.
