Rogers State and Central Oklahoma Announce Neutral Site Game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in OKC

RSU and UCO will play at the Oklahoma City Comets Stadium on March 17 at 6:05 p.m.

CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State baseball has announced a special midweek game against the Central Oklahoma Bronchos on Tuesday, March 17, at 6:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in downtown Oklahoma City.

The matchup against the in-state rivals was initially scheduled to take place in Edmond. The game will still be broadcast on the MIAA Network, with live stats available.

This will mark the Hillcats' first competition at the home of the Oklahoma City Comets, the Triple-A affiliate of the back-to-back World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The last time RSU played in a minor league venue was April 29, 2014, against Oklahoma Baptist at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, home of the Double-A Tulsa Drillers.

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark opened in 1998 in Oklahoma City's Bricktown Entertainment District, replacing All Sports Stadium. The ballpark, constructed with approximately 480,000 bricks, features 9,000 seats and two video boards. The state-of-the-art venue has hosted the Big 12 Baseball Tournament and the Bedlam Series against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
