CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State track and field competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invite in Boston, held at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center, and the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kansas, at the Robert W. Plaster Center on Friday.
DAVID HEMERY VALENTINE INVITE
Senior
Nathaneal Gibson opened the David Hemery Valentine Invite at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center in Boston, Massachusetts, with a mile time of 4:16.22, finishing 222nd in a competitive field of Division I athletes.
Sophomore
Sisely Mitchell is set to compete in the mile at 12:30 p.m. CT, while senior
Amy Morefield will conclude the Boston trip in the 3000 meters at 4:10 p.m. CT.

Isaac Conder finished ninth with a time of 1:13.90. In the 5,000m, senior
Nathan Hernandez placed 16th in 15:13.98, while freshman

On the women's side, sophomore
Kenzie Gilliam and freshman
Stella Jones competed in the 600y, with Gilliam finishing ninth in a personal best of 1:31.14 and Jones clocking a personal best of 1:31.28 for a 10th-place finish. Sophomore
Emily Cruz concluded the night with a 27th-place finish in the 5,000m, posting a time of 18:57.83.
A group of Hillcats will run on day two of the invite, beginning at 12 p.m.
