KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) released its 2026 Men's Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, and Rogers State was picked to finish ninth ahead of MoWest.
The Hillcats collected 14 points in the poll. Pittsburg State was picked to repeat as the conference champion this season with 81 points and nine first-place votes. The Gorillas were followed by Northwest Missouri State, which tallied 72 points and the only other first-place vote. Missouri Southern (63 Points), Washburn (57 Points) and Central Missouri (47 Points) rounded out the top five.
RSU opened the outdoor season at the Dean Pryor Invite on March 12 in Coffeyville, Kansas. They will return to action after a week off for Spring Break at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis on Thursday and Friday, the OBU All-Comers meet in Shawnee on Friday and the 2026 ORU Invitational in Tulsa on Saturday.
