KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) unveiled its 2026 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, and Rogers State was picked to finish 10th ahead of Central Oklahoma.
RSU collected 20 points in the poll. Pittsburg State was picked to repeat as the conference champion this season with 100 points and 10 first-place votes. The Gorillas were followed by Northwest Missouri State, which tallied 91 points and the only other first-place vote. Washburn (82 Points), Missouri Southern (71 Points) and Central Missouri (65 Points) rounded out the top five.
The Hillcats opened the outdoor season at the Dean Pryor Invite on March 12 in Coffeyville, Kansas. They will return to competition after a week off for Spring Break at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis on Thursday and Friday, the OBU All-Comers meet in Shawnee on Friday and the 2026 ORU Invitational in Tulsa on Saturday.
