ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Rogers State Women's Golf punched its ticket to nationals with a third-place finish on Wednesday at the NCAA Division II Central Regional, held at the St. Joseph CC.
The Hillcats have now qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships for the fourth time in six years. Their first appearance came during the 2020-21 season when they secured a second-place finish at the regional tournament, bolstered by an individual title from
Jessica Green (2017-22). The following season, they returned after finishing third at regionals. In the 2023-24 season, RSU again placed third at the regional tournament, with
Lydia Sitorus (2021-25) earning an individual title. Their best finish at nationals was 14
th in 2021.
The NCAA Championships are set for May 12-16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. For more information and updates, visit

RSU recorded a third-place finish on the final day of action at the St. Joseph Country Club with a three-round score of 937 (+73). Joining the Hillcats at nationals are Southwest Oklahoma State, which won the regional title with a final score of 926 (+62), Nebraska-Kearney (+64), Minnesota State (+77) and Arkansas Tech (+78). The Hillcats shot a 320 (+32) in the final round.
Senior
Brianna Maddux achieved her best individual regional finish, tying for eighth place with a three-round score of 229 (+13). The Owasso, Oklahoma, native recorded a final-round score of 77 (+5), finishing even par on 13 holes. Maddux will make her second appearance at the NCAA Championships next week representing the Red and Navy.
Junior
Lauren Anderson achieved a regional best finish, tying for 15th in the tournament with a three-round score of 232 (+16). Anderson shot an 80 (+8) in the final round, closing out the competition with a birdie on hole 18. She will also appear at the NCAA Championship for the second time in her career.
Sophomore
Milena Andres improved from a 41st-place finish at last year's regional tournament, tying for 24th this year with a three-round score of 237 (+21). Freshman
Clara Ledun finished her first regional championship tied for 40th with a score of 241 (+25), while fellow freshman
Lou Fourdan rounded out the team, tying for 62nd with a total of 245 (+29).
