TULSA, Okla. – Senior Lauren Anderson's big second round helped propel Hillcat Women's Golf to their third straight title at the NSU Women's Classic at Page Belcher GC – Stone Creek on Tuesday. All five scorers finished in the top 20, including three in the top 10.
 
The Hillcats carried momentum from the outstanding 2025-26 season into a strong fall opener. Rogers State improved its score by four strokes on day two, bringing its two-round total of 590 (+22). Southeastern Oklahoma State finished as the runner-up, followed by Harding (+34), Oklahoma Baptist (+37) and Arkansas-Monticello (+43).
 
Anderson finished tied for second, marking her best individual finish as a Hillcat in the first tournament of her senior campaign. The Tontitown, Arkansas, native shot a 70 (-1) with two birdies and 15 pars, bringing her tournament total to 145 (+3). Her one-under-par score was the best of any player in the second round.
 
Freshman Renoctoviana Said shined in her first collegiate tournament, finishing tied for fourth with a two-round total of 147 (+5). The native of Jakarta, Indonesia, fired a 73 (+2) in round two, which included three birdies.
 
Junior Milena Andres earned her fifth career top-10 finish after tying for eighth after 36 holes. The Tigre, Argentina, native posted a two-round score of 149 (+7). Sophomore Lou Fourdan finished just one stroke behind with a score of 150 (+8), while fellow sophomore Clara Ledun placed 17th with a two-round total of 153 (+11).
 
Competing as individuals, sophomore Lara Foigel and junior Elle Standlee Daniels put together a solid showing in T-Town. Foigel finished with a final card of 155 (+13) to finish tied for 22^nd, while Standlee Daniels finished tied for 45^th with a card of 162 (+20).
 
The Hillcats will return to action on Sept. 21-22 at the MIAA Conference Preview at Terradyne CC in Andover, Kansas.
