About: Chaidez appeared in 16 of RSU's 17 matches in her first season on the Hill making her only start on the road at Dallas Baptist. She tallied her first career goal in the Hillcats victory against Texas-Permian Basin and added another against Oklahoma Wesleyan. The Las Vegas, Nev., native recorded a lone assist for her first collegiate point at John Brown totaling five points on the season. Chaidez came to RSU after playing for Head Coach Ezad Moreno at Ed W. Clark High School for four years earning the Mayor’s Cup Award as a senior. As a junior and senior, she played competitively for the Heat Futbol Club and as a sophomore for Premier SC. Chaidez was named Class 4A Girls Honors All-Southern Nevada, All-Sunset Region, and All-Southwest League as a sophomore. The daughter of Lucy Arce, she began playing soccer at the age of five. Chaidez said she chose RSU because of "the Justice Administration program and because I want to play soccer."
