Eric Baker (Centerfield, 2012 - 2013)
Erick Baker Hall of HonorEric Baker had a very successful two-year career as a Hillcat, leaving his fingerprints all over the record books. He was part of a stout offensive core that led RSU to back-to-back NAIA World Series apperances, including the 2012 runner-up finish. He currently holds five different single season records including hits (95), at-bats (239), triples (6), total bases (138) and games started (65). In his time on College Hill, Baker was named to the 2012 NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team, was a 2012 NAIA World Series Gold Glove recipient, a two-time All-Sooner Athletic Conference selections and two-time Sooner Athletic Conference Gold Glove honoree. He finished his career in the red and navy with a .368 batting average in 410 at-bats in 115 games with 40 extra base hits (27 doubles, nine triples, four home runs), 61 RBI and 36 stolen bases. Baker joined the Hillcats from Connors State College. He started his career at Connors in 2007, but took a two-year hiatus after suffering an injury in the fall. After spending a year as a traditional student, Baker walked on at Connors in 2010-11. He earned a scholarship and started for the team in the spring. He led the team on offense during conference play with a .400 batting average and earned second team all-conference honors.
   
Colton Campbell (Outfield, 2011 - 2013)
Colton Campbell Hall of HonorColton Campbell was a force both offensively and defensively for three season with Hillcats. The St. Cloud, Fla. native helped guide the Hillcats to back-to-back NAIA World Series appearances, including the 2012 runner-up finish. He currently holds single season record for doubles (21) and games started (65), as well as the most hits in a single game. (5 vs. Lubbock Christian on 5/11/2013). In the red and navy, Campbell was a 2013 NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, a two-time All-Sooner Athletic Conference selection and a 2013 Sooner Athletic Conference Gold Glove recipient. He finished his time on College Hill with career batting average of .367 in 529 at-bats in 163 games with 61 extra base hits (46 doubles, two triples, 13 home runs), 134 RBI and 17 stolen bases. Before joining RSU, Campbell started his career at the University of West Florida. As a freshman at UWF, Colton hit .115 with five RBI. Campbell helped lead St. Cloud High School to back-to-back district runner-up appearances. He was twice named first-team All-Orange Belt Conference in high school and was named Osceola County Athlete of the Week by the Orlando Sentinel.
   
Kyle Duncan (RHP, 2012 - 2014)
Kyle Duncan Hall of HonorKyle Duncan anchored the back end of the Hillcat pitching rotation for three years, and helped led RSU to back-to-back trips to the NAIA World Series in 2012 and 2013. The Bedford, Texas native posted a 7-3 record as a junior in 2013 throwing 68.2 innings while holding the opposition to a .244 batting average with 42 strikeouts. His biggest game came in the NAIA Opening Round championship against Lubbock Christian where he threw a complete game taking the Hillcats back to the NAIA World Series for the second-consecutive season.The right-handed pitcher tallied an 8-2 record in 2012 with 83 innings of work and three complete games. In his time on College Hill, he was 2012 Second Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference selection. Prior to joining the Hillcats, Duncan redshirted the 2011 season at Oklahoma State after suffering a knee injury. He spent his freshman campaign at Hill College (Texas) where he played under Head Coach Chris Batike. He lettered three years at Colleyville Heritage High School and was an all-district performer, leading his team to a district title and the regional semifinals.
       
Brandon Bargas (LHP, 2012 - 2013)
Brandon Bargas Hall of HonorA southpaw from Owasso, Okla, Brandon Bargas spent two years in the red and navy. He was apart of the 2012 NAIA World Series runner-up team. Barges currently holds two single season records for most strikeouts (114) and most complete games (8), as well as the most strikeouts in a single game (18 vs. LSU-Shreveport on 5/26/2012). In his time on College Hill, he was named to the 2012 NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team as well as being a two-time Second Team All-Sooner Atheltic Conference selection. In total, Bargas logged a career record of 16-9 with a 3.18 ERA in 34 appearances and 29 starts in 184.0 innings pitched. He also struck out 207 batters and only walked 57. Prior to joining the Hillcats, Bargas spent one season at Eastern Oklahoma College. At EOC, he registered an 8-5 record with a 3.01 ERA. He fanned 95 hitters in 80 innings pitched and earned NJCAA Region II All-Tournament Team honors. The Mountaineers won the NJCAA Region II Championship in 2011. As a freshman, Bargas played at the University of Oklahoma where he tossed 11.1 innings, striking out 13 batters with a 3.97 ERA. He made a trip to the NCAA Division I World Series with the Sooners in 2010. The Owasso High School product won three straight state championships (2007, 2008, 2009) with the Rams. As a senior in 2009, he was named to the all-state team and earned Tulsa Metro Pitcher of the Year accolades. Bargas finished his senior campaign with a 2-3 record, pitching 72 innings with 87 strikeouts and a 1.30 ERA.
     
 
Shawn Spainhoward Hall of HonorShawn Spainhoward (LHP 2012 - 2013)
Shawn Spainhoward had an excellent two-year career with the Hillcats, and let his mark all over the record books. The St. Peters, Mo. native was an integral part of the 2012 team that made an incredible run to the NAIA World Series and finished the season as the NAIA runner-ups. He currently holds the single season records for wins (11), starts (16), innings pitched (106.0) and complete games (8). In his time at RSU, Spainhoward was named to the 2012 NAIA World Series All-Tournament team as well as a NAIA World Series Gold Glove recipient, a two-time All-Conference selection and a two-time Sooner Athletic Conference Gold Glove recipient. He finished his time on College Hill with a career record of 19-7 with a 2.48 ERA in 32 appearances with 31 starts in 200.0 innings pitched. He also struck out 139 battes and only walked 38. Prior donning the red and navy, Spainhoward spent two seasons at Southwestern Illinois College. The left handed pitcher tossed 50 innings and fanned 41 batters with a 6.30 ERA and a 3-3-1 overall record. As a freshman, Spainhoward registered a 5-4-1 record with a 6.19 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched and 27 strikeouts. The team earned the Region 24 championship and he was named to the all-tournament team. Spainhoward finished his prep career at Francis Howell North High School. During his senior season he earned a 5-0 record with a 1.67 ERA. He fanned 46 batters in 46 innings pitched. He had a batting average of .313 and drove in 19 runs.
      
 
Robert Brown Hall of HonorRobert Brown (Assistant Coach, 2006-2019)
Robert Brown served as an assistant coach from the program's inaugural season in 2006 unitl 2019. He played an integral part in RSU's climb to a 2012 NAIA runner-up finish and back-to-back appearances in the Avista-NAIA World Series in 2012 and 2013. Serving as the pitching coach, the Hillcats have had two players under his direction drafted in the Major League Baseball draft. Eight times a Hillcat pitcher was named to Sooner Athletic Conference All-Conference teams in Brown’s time in Claremore. Brown was instrumental in the RSU career of All-American Rusty Huber. Huber, who became the first-ever pitcher to earn NCAA Division II All-American honors for RSU in 2017, was a third team selection that season from three organizations: National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, American Baseball Coaches Association and the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association. With the guidance from Brown, Huber totaled 11 saves, one off his single season school record from 2016, and a 1.00 earned run average. Huber also earned All-South Central Region First Team honors from the ABCA, NCBWA and D2CCA in 2017. In his final two seasons, Brown totaled five All-Heartland Conference pitchers, as the navy and red totaled their fourth straight winning season. In 2019, Brown's leadership over the pitchers helped lead the Hillcats to the program's first Heartland Conference Tournament Championship, as well as a run in the NCAA Region II Tournament, as RSU came within one game of a super regional. The season included a season record and career record in saves from Brock Knoten, who developed under Brown to be one of the top closing pitchers in the South Central Region and the nation in 2019.
