Joe Crow enters his second year working as an assistant coach for the Rogers State baseball team in 2017 following two years as a catcher with the program.
 
The Midland, Texas native helps manage the bullpen on game days, assists with the Hillcats' strength and conditioning program, advanced scouting, and day-to-day practice plans.
 
Crow made 44 appearances for the navy and red in two seasons, including 28 starts behind the plate during his redshirt freshman season in 2014. He ranked second on the team that year with 146 putouts tallying a season-high 10 in the season finale against Oklahoma Baptist and finished the season with a .963 fielding percentage. He posted a .200 batting average with six of his 18 hits going for extra bases and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs against Baker.
