Summary

Biography

About: Fox returns to RSU for his sophomore season in 2015 after running in four of the Hillcats' six meets as a freshman. The Coweta, Oklahoma native posted his best 8k time at the OBU Invitational running the course in 27:33.14 placing 28th, while his best result of 12th came at the Midwestern State Carnival helping push RSU to a team title. Fox came to the Hill after a standout career at Coweta High School where he set three school records during his senior season for Head Coach Tim Hall. He is the Tigers' record holder in the 3,200 meters, 800 meters, and the 4x800 relay. He finished third at the Oklahoma State Track and Field Championships in the 800 meters in 2014 while earning team MVP honors. During his junior cross country campaign, Fox turned in a fourth-place finish at the state meet with a Coweta-record time of 16:49 and later set the track record in the mile. The son of Jason and Debra Fox, he said he chose RSU because "Coach McCormick is such a solid guy and I knew I wanted to be coached by him."
