Biography

About: Friesen returned from a season-ending injury suffered in 2009 to appear in 18 games starting all of them in the 2010 campaign. The Edmond, Okla. native helped a defense that allowed an average of one goal per game in his sophomore season. He was a key contributor to the Hillcat defense in 2008, his first season on the Hill. Friesen started all 19 games as a freshman at RSU and also scored one goal. He was named the Newcomer of the Year for the RSU men’s soccer program following his freshman season.
