Biography

About: Kokis started 17 of the 18 games he appeared in as a freshman in 2012. Kokis helped the Hillcat backline that allowed an average of 1.661 goals per game. He came to RSU after scoring a team-leading 13 goals for the Owasso Rams as a senior in 2012 under head coach David Yates. He was the team captain and MVP during his senior campaign while earning first team 6A All-State and All-Metro honors. Kokis was a four-year letter winner at Owasso and tied the team-high for goals scored as a freshman with seven. Born in Latvia, Kokis is the son of Arnis and Sigita Kokis. He said he chose RSU because it’s “close to home and has a good soccer program.”
