Seals joined the RSU men’s basketball program in the summer of 2026 after a successful career as both a player and coach at Newberry College in South Carolina, where he earned a master’s degree in sports management.
As a coach, he developed First-Team All-Conference player Drake Down and guided the team to a tie for second in scoring defense in the South Atlantic Conference during the 2024-25 season, allowing an average of 75.8 points per game.
During his playing career, Seals helped his team lead all NCAA Division I, II and III schools in offensive rebounding for the 2022-23 season and contributed to the most wins against Division II opponents in a single season in the program's history.
Seals is no stranger to the Sooner State, having graduated from Ponca City High School. He was a four-year letter winner for the Wildcats and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team twice at the Enid Holiday Classic.
