AJ Folds was recently named the MIAA Hitter of the Week. The Dallas, Texas native led the Hillcat offense last week, hitting .625 overall (.714 in MIAA contests) with 10 hits, six runs and four RBI as RSU went 3-1 on the week against Northwestern Oklahoma State and Fort Hays State. In the series against the Tigers, Folds finished 10-for-14 at the plate with back-to-back four-hit games to close out the series. In the series finale on Sunday, Folds made history in the second inning. The senior center fielder not only joined the 100 Career Hits Club but also became the first player in school history to hit two triples in a single game
