CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State stayed close to fourth ranked Southern Nazarene until the final minutes but eventually fell short in a 3-0 conference loss at Soldier Field on Thursday.

Isiah Bray scored the lone goal of the first half for SNU on an assist from Marco Juarez. The score remained tied until Cameron Doom found the back of the net on an assist from Bray with just 2:47 left in the match. Doom added a second goal 71 seconds later to ice the 3-0 win for the Storm.

It was the first conference loss of the season for the RSU men who fell to 7-2-2. Southern Nazarene improved to 9-0-2 on the season, 3-0 in conference play. The Hillcats will travel to Bethel College (Bethel, Kan.) on Saturday for a non-conference match. RSU will return home on Thursday to host Oklahoma Baptist in a rescheduled game. That match is slated for 3 p.m.
