CHICKASHA, Okla. - Rogers State surrendered a season-high five goals and dropped a 5-1 decision at the University of Science Arts Friday in Chickasha, Okla.

Nikola Cakarevic tallied two goals and two assists for the Drovers who improved to 11-2-1. The Hillcats registered nine shots on goal but only beat USAO goalie Ricardo Moreira once. Luke Helm cut a 2-0 deficit in half with a strike on an assist from Shemord Thompson in the 35th minute.

However, the Drovers answered with three second half goals to put the game away. Cakerevic scored his second goal in the 49th minute and Jake Cottage and Wesley Costa added goals to reach the final margin, 5-1. USAO outshot the Hillcats 10-9. Moreira recorded eight saves for the Drovers.

Rogers State (8-4-2, 2-3-1) remains in fifth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference after the loss. The Hillcats will play their final regular season home game Wednesday evening at Soldier Field. RSU will face John Brown in a match scheduled for 7 p.m.
