SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Rogers State and John Brown battled to a 1-1 tie Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Field in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Henrique Sousa gave the Hillcats the early advantage with a goal in the 23rd minute of the match. The lead held until the 58th minute when Josh Baldwin tied the match with the lone goal for the Golden Eagles. Nikola Samac tallied five saves for RSU to preserve the tie through two overtime periods. Ryan Helmer posted three saves for JBU.

The Golden Eagles outshot the Hillcats, 20-13, including 5-1 in the overtime periods. It marked the first draw of the season for either team.

Rogers State (11-2-1, 3-1-1) will take five days off before returning to the pitch Tuesday to host USAO at Soldier Field in Claremore. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
