NEWTON, Kan. - The Rogers State men's soccer team kept its winning streak alive with road victories over Friends University and Bethel College Friday and Saturday.
The Hillcats edged Friends, 1-0 Friday night in Wichita, Kan., and soared past Bethel, 2-0 Saturday afternoon in Newton, Kan., running their winning streak to five games. RSU has not lost since opening the season with a 2-1 defeat at Northeastern State.

Bethel managed to keep the Hillcats out of the net until Robert Yang beat Jose Ocampo for a tally in the 65th minute Saturday afternoon. Fitzgerald added his second goal of the weekend just two minutes later on assist from Luke Helm. Surridge earned his second shutout in as many days with two saves in 90 minutes of action between the posts.
