CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Rogers State women's soccer team battled Oklahoma Baptist for 110 minutes Saturday evening at Soldier Field, but the end result was a 0-0 draw.
The Lady Bison outshot the Hillcats in the match by an 18-8 margin. OBU put nine shots on frame while RSU fired four shots on goal.
The game was fairly even as both teams created scoring chances but could not capitalize. OBU had the advantage in overtime, blasting two shots, one on goal, but Hillcat goalkeeper Chelsea McMullin denied the Lady Bison with the save.
McMullin's shutout was her third of the season. The freshman goalkeeper from Plano, Texas finished with nine saves.
RSU (6-3-1, 2-1-1 SAC) returns to action at Soldier Field on Tuesday, October 12 at 5 p.m. as they play host to St. Gregory's.
