RSU took a 5-0 after Luis Caraballo ripped a two-run single to right in the top of the third. The Drovers responded with three runs on four hits in the bottom of the inning, but the Cats came right back with runs in the fourth and fifth.
Â
Rob Rodriguez singled and scored on a double by Billy Balak in the fourth and Hamby added a two-run single in the fifth. A two-run bomb by Kevin Radford made it 11-3 in the top of the seventh and gave the Diamond Cats plenty of breathing room.

USAO managed to plate two runs in the bottom of the seventh and two more in the eighth to cut the margin to four. However, freshman Frensly Martina retired the Drovers in order in the ninth to squash any thoughts of a comeback.
